About the role
ATHOS screens insurance sales candidates before they are hired, trains agents against unscripted voice AI prospects, and scores every real call a team makes. Each of those is a product in its own right, and all three are early.
You will be one of the first engineers. That means shipping weekly, talking to the agencies who use what you build, and making architectural decisions that will still be standing in three years.
What you will do
- Design, build and ship product features across a Next.js and TypeScript stack
- Work on real-time voice sessions, call ingestion from dialer integrations, and the scoring pipeline behind them
- Turn conversations with sales managers and agents into product decisions
- Set the engineering standards, tooling and review culture the team grows into
What we are looking for
- Several years building and operating production web applications
- Strong TypeScript, React and server-side fundamentals
- Comfort owning a feature from a rough idea through to production and support
- Clear written communication in a small, remote team
Nice to have
- Experience with LLMs, speech-to-text or real-time audio
- Experience in a regulated industry such as insurance or healthcare
